On the last weekend, I’ve asked Abe Je suggestion on a few films that worth watching. He had suggested two movies which are ‘No Country for Old Men’ (8.5 for IMDB rating) and ‘There Will Be Blood’ (8.6 for IMDB rating).
Both movies were great except for the endings. I dont’ know whether I am out of date or the people who voted for the movies have the weird taste (which may include my brother?). The plots and the contents for both stories were tremendous but the end of the stories were a bit unsatisfying. We as the viewers were left without been given any single clue about what will exactly happen next. Do the protagonist win? Or maybe he lost? What is happening to the others? What is the conclusion for the film?
We were left to make our own ethical judgement on the issues. What the heck!! A good movie should not only have the good themes and the good quality of actors, but also the good intro as well as ending. A good film is like a pregnancy process. The process should be smooth or else it will harm the baby which is the film. The pregnant woman need to be careful throughout the period especially during the giving birth process which is the ending of the film or else they will spoil the baby.
**Shooting others with the captive bolt pistol is really cool. Maybe the martial art artists should include the disarm of this weapon in the syllabus as well . Is it same like disarming the baseball bat or broken bottle? hmm..
