Interesting study about ‘Sujud’ [Prostration]

I got an email about prostration this morning. Hopefully we can learn something from this message.

Your Body receives a huge amount of Electromagnetic waves daily!

You get these Electromagnetic waves through the Electrical Equipments that you use and the various equipments which you cannot leave!

Also, through the electrical lights which can not be switched off in certain cases for even an hour!

You are a source which receives huge amounts of Electromagnetic waves! In other words, you are charged with electromagnetic waves without realizing it!

You have headache! You feel uncomfortable!

Laziness, in action and pain in different places!

Do not forget this when you feel some of these symptoms!
What is the solution from all this??!!

1.   A non Muslim Scientist (From Europe) made a research from which he concluded that the best way for the body to remove the positive Electromagnetic charges which hurts the body is:
By putting your forehead on the ground more than once, so that the ground will discharge the positive harmful Electromagnetic charges!

2.   This is similar to the grounding of the buildings where any positive electrical signals (Like thunders) would be discharged through the ground.

3.   So, put your forehead on the ground to discharge the positive electrical signals!
What makes this research more amazing is that:

4.   The best is to put your forehead on the sand

And it becomes more amazing that:
1.The best way is to put your forehead on the ground while you are positioned to the centre of the Earth! Since you will be able to discharge the Electromagnetic signals in a better and more efficient way!
And you will be amazed when you know that Makkah is scientifically proven to be the centre of the Earth!

And that Kaa’ba is the exact centre of the Earth!

So, “Prostration” in your prayers is:
1.The best way to discharge the harmful electromagnetic signals from your body!
2.It is also the ideal way to be very close from the Almighty who created this universe in such a creative way!

Allah Almighty will always ask us to do things because they are helpful and useful for us! There are cases when we won’t know the reason for a certain act, but sooner or later, you might be able to find the reason!

In any case, you should trust the Almighty Allah and know that whatever you do for Him, is the best for you!
We do not prostrate to discharge the electromagnetic waves, but to obey the Almighty Allah! We trust that in His commands, there is always a wisdom! Our trust is because He is the Creator, He knows everything!

However, since a scientific reason is available, it was essential to show it to the people so that they can see that whatever Muslims do, is good for them!

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Successful indeed are the believers (1)

Who are humble in their prayers, (2)

And who shun vain conversation, (3)

And who are payers of the poor-due; (4)

And who guard their modesty – (5)

Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, (6)

But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors – (7)

And who are keepers of their pledge and their covenant, (8)

And who pay heed to their prayers. (9)

These are the heirs (10)

Who will inherit paradise. There they will abide. (11)

Verily We created man from a product of wet earth (12)

Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging; (13)

Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators! (14)

Then lo! after that ye surely die (15)

Then lo! on the Day of Resurrection ye are raised (again) (16)

And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation (17)

And we send down from the sky water in measure, and We give it settle in the earth, and lo! We are Able to withdraw it (18)

Advanced ‘Rock Paper Scissors’ game

Let’s challenge our thinking skills by playing the advanced game of ‘Rock Paper Scissors’ (RPS). Although it is not as challenging as the PS3 games, it should at least make the brains work to figure it out who wins the game. huhuhu

For teachers or teachers to be, maybe they should consider using this game in the classroom. I am sure it can be adapted to suit principles in creating an effective teaching and learning process in classroom. huhuhu

I found the word ‘misnomer’ when I played hangman game in a blog. I managed to fill in the blank before I run out of alphabet. However, the word didn’t seem to be familiar to me. So, I just googled it to find out the meaning of the word.

A misnomer is a term which suggests an interpretation that is known to be untrue. Such incorrect terms sometimes derived their names because of the form, action, or origin of the subject—becoming named popularly or widely referenced—long before their true natures were known. (Wikepedia 2008) (for more detail info and examples refer here)

some people just see things differently..

We had a starter for our class this week using examples of misnomer. Many of my friends laugh out loud when the examples were shown one by one by Mike. I found it not that funny, as I didn’t really get the jokes. Pity me..or maybe it was not funny at all. Yeah, I just don’t see the funny part of the statement.. “French fries did not originate in France” is that funny?.

The moral of the story:

Buying but not reading, yet

Is it a bad habit, buying piles of books, but just put them as display? That is my current habit. I use some of them for my dissertation, but not that much. I just take a few lines for quotation, that’s it.

Since I am here in the UK, to be honest, I have never finished reading any single book from cover to cover. What I did was just skimming through the pages, and read only small part of it. Huhuhu

The Present

My new habit. huhuhu

Why does this immoral act happen? Firstly, maybe I tend to only read what is meaningful to me. Maybe some of the books that I bought are interesting, but they may not appeal to my interest yet. The time will come when these books might seduce me, making me want to eat them. I guess, that’s what usually happens to me. However, the source is usually comes from the internet, not from my collection. It is because my collection is tiny compared to the huge amount of sources in the net. Huhuhu..

Some may say that ‘why do I need to buy those books as I can read about the theme on the net or I can borrow some in the library’. I think, perhaps, they have missed the plot. My pleasure is not on reading those books, but more to buying those books. The sense of authority that I feel when those books are in front of me is just blissful. It is simple, yet a bit complicated. I do go to the library just to make myself feel at ease, nothing more than that, as a lot of my friends talk about stuff in the library. Grab a few books and that’s all. huhuhu..

The Past

Alam Perwira: Hikmat Alam Semesta >>> Api syurga meragut lalang.. huhuhu..

In the past, I have experienced the time when I read a lot (a lot for me, so don’t compare it with other taikos). I read books mainly novels and comics, even subscribed some of them. Some of them are nonsense such as Tony Wong’s comics and some of them are pretty informative stuff. But that’s not the main point, as long as I read something, that’s more than enough, for the time being.

Then, the theme of books that I read changed toward more educational pieces (was it?). Although it is not that educational, but there was progress I guess. I bought quite a number of books under these themes, but rarely read them. Again, the meaningfulness of the context applied here. Some of the books were borrowed by others, and I was glad to help. At least the books could function as books, not just merely as the decoration to my room. Huhuhu

The Future

Read in the name of Lord who created (Al Alaq:1). To bend the bamboo start with the shoot. The picture is taken from here

I want to see the future generation has a big appetite reading books. Perhaps reach the extent where they read whatever or whenever they have chance, and enjoy reading books, laugh to the death, cry if necessary, think to the core, scan cover to cover, share the reading; or at least be someone like my brother (refer here).

The question of how is a bit challenging to answer. Can I show good example when I am not even a bookworm? The best solution is to provide them with the first class environment where they can see books around them, either at home or school. Buy books instead of nonsense  or something that might not be useful for you in the future (I did buy a replica sword and other nonsense T-T). For the rest of the method to foster reading habit, all of you can think better than me. huhuhu

In conclusion, I still wonder, is buying books, but not reading them, yet, a bad habit? hmm..

Power Element

While wondering around the globe, this what i’ve found. huhuhu

Your Power Element is Wood

Your power colours: green and brown
Your energy: generative

Your season: spring

Like a tree, you are always growing and changing.

And while your life is dynamic, you are firmly grounded.

You have high morals and great confidence in yourself and others.

You have a wide set of interests, and you make for interesting company.

  1. Wood? hmm
  2. Green and brown? hmmm
  3. Generative? I think it’s negative, i’m getting older, uhuk2.. not very well today..
  4. Spring? I like if it is sunny, if not just forget about it.
  5. Like a tree? Yeah, i’m changing as well for the winter, need to put some weight.
  6. Dynamic? firmly grounded? What’s that?
  7. Confidence? I do have confidence in others, but not in myself.
  8. Wide interest? I am not sure whether I have wide set of interests.. But I can assure you I like to discover things in martial arts. huhuu

In conclusion, the test failed to show my true power. huhuhuhu

Beauty and the beast

This post is specially made to answer the tag that Harith and Warid have given. 1st time for everything:

Last night was the first time I went to watch the beauty and the beast. It was not the first time I went to watch a play. However, it is the first time I watch others acting without talking, but by dancing ballet and doing stuff like that or can I say that it is more towards the neoclassical ballet?

Don’t expect us to sit in the front row. Our seats are the cheapest! huhu

It took me some times to understand some parts of the play. Yeah, I had to recall my memory, watching and reading about the beauty and the beast, which is merely existing. And with a bit of modification to the play had made thing became worst. I nearly slept, giving up trying to understand the play. huhuhu. To read the story click here.

The ball.. The props were grand..

The orchestra was brilliant. The actors had done pretty good job as well and even scared me. What scared me was that the way they dance. Many part of the dance required them to stand by using the edge of their foot, or maybe just on their foot fingers. I know it is common for these type of dances, but not for me.

The wild girl. Is she the Squirrel? But look at the footwork.. @_@

This footwork reminded me to what my teachers said, if you fight with other guy(s) and he is standing with the edge of his foot, the best way is to run away from them. It is because he use one kind of cool technique, and I am surely not his match, yet. As far as I concern, the technique is called Tapak Yoi. Huhuhu..

Back to the Beauty and the beast story, there are a lot of lessons that can be learnt from the play. Some of them are:

  1. Do not be cruel to others, even it is just to a squirrel. It is because their prayer (the person being cruelled) is heard by God.
  2. Do no trouble others for the silly mistake that you make. Such as what the beauty’s father has done to her. But luckily he is a prince, not the real beast. She has won the lottery. Huhuhu
  3. Lastly, to the beast out there including me, don’t lose hope to find the beauty in your life. Even the ugly beast can get the beauty, why not you? And when the time comes, don’t forget to invite me to the kenduri. Huhuhu..

Tag done? huhuhu

Busiest day:

One of the issues that I would like to raise is about the concept of this blog. At first, the content of the entries are a bit heavy and kind of boring (when I was the only author of this blog). But, it turns to be more light and fun to enjoy especially to the reader who has the background knowledge about what the writer talked about.

But in the end, the quality and content of the entry do not matter anymore, It is more than alright if someone willingly want to send some posts. huhuhu

Autumn in my heart

A few more weeks to go, then I’ll be back home. Home sweet home. It has been quite a long time since I have touched those hands, who have been working hard to make me who I am today. Yeah, I am nobody but hopefully somebody to those eyes.

It is mixture of feelings that I have, leaving my siblings who are struggling to survive in the cruel battlefields. They just want to get a few good numbers and nice shape alphabets written on a piece of paper. That’s all. I am kind of sad really. Yeah, I’ll always cheer you up, for the far side.

It is autumn. The weather is getting colder. Trees drop their leaves to continue the circle, to keep fit for the coming climate. They have to sacrifice what they have in order to gain something better, or at least to survive.

P/s: My fall doesn’t break.. Why? Why? Maybe I need to skip classes to have one last cool break.

Saya nak jatuh patah. (Fall Break)

Realizing or not, it becomes my habit to check on this blog every second. and most of the time, saya kecewa. haha. Write something la abg2 oi. I want to read something other than those crappy navier-stokes, bingham fluid etc. I want some entertainment. Oh fall break is around the corner btw. I might be going to Gatlinburg. back to nature org ckp. and stay in this cabin for two nights. Cant wait!

Sending someone home is SAD. with capital letters. Yes, Min, BME mmg susah. Halfway through this sem, and I think only E-mags, Control System are okay, i’m not flunking it at least(Circuit 2 crap!). Transport and Physio? Ughhhh. I wonder why I’m majoring in Biomedical Engineering but loving Electrical engineering courses That’s how life works sometimes.

Oh Fall Break..

p/s:Sorry, it’s closed.
