Beauty and the beast

This post is specially made to answer the tag that Harith and Warid have given. 1st time for everything:

Last night was the first time I went to watch the beauty and the beast. It was not the first time I went to watch a play. However, it is the first time I watch others acting without talking, but by dancing ballet and doing stuff like that or can I say that it is more towards the neoclassical ballet?

Don’t expect us to sit in the front row. Our seats are the cheapest! huhu

It took me some times to understand some parts of the play. Yeah, I had to recall my memory, watching and reading about the beauty and the beast, which is merely existing. And with a bit of modification to the play had made thing became worst. I nearly slept, giving up trying to understand the play. huhuhu. To read the story click here.

The ball.. The props were grand..

The orchestra was brilliant. The actors had done pretty good job as well and even scared me. What scared me was that the way they dance. Many part of the dance required them to stand by using the edge of their foot, or maybe just on their foot fingers. I know it is common for these type of dances, but not for me.

The wild girl. Is she the Squirrel? But look at the footwork.. @_@

This footwork reminded me to what my teachers said, if you fight with other guy(s) and he is standing with the edge of his foot, the best way is to run away from them. It is because he use one kind of cool technique, and I am surely not his match, yet. As far as I concern, the technique is called Tapak Yoi. Huhuhu..

Back to the Beauty and the beast story, there are a lot of lessons that can be learnt from the play. Some of them are:

  1. Do not be cruel to others, even it is just to a squirrel. It is because their prayer (the person being cruelled) is heard by God.
  2. Do no trouble others for the silly mistake that you make. Such as what the beauty’s father has done to her. But luckily he is a prince, not the real beast. She has won the lottery. Huhuhu
  3. Lastly, to the beast out there including me, don’t lose hope to find the beauty in your life. Even the ugly beast can get the beauty, why not you? And when the time comes, don’t forget to invite me to the kenduri. Huhuhu..

Tag done? huhuhu
